An unexpected read in a good way.

Writing style was not the same old same old. Loved the characters and adventure! Will look for more from this talented author.

Do you truly know yourself?

Rowan knows herself, or so she thought. When a warrior crashes in her sanctuary with an ill dragon her life changes in the most unexpected ways. She thought she could trust those in charge, until now. If Rowan wants to heal this dragon and uncover the real truth she must leave behind all she has known. Putting her trust in Taren isn't easy but Rowan forges ahead in her quest. She quickly realizes that nothing is as it seemed to be. Past lives forgotten, once again awaken to the light of truth. Life has a way of showing us what we need. Lessons our minds and hearts must learn. Lead with example not control. Surrender to the truth, it is where true strength resides. Face the worst within and rise again anyway. Adventure, intrigue and some real twists that will make your head spin! I could barley put this book down. Loved It!

Another beautiful fantasy!

In this story by Nyra Dain, we have another beautiful fantasy, this one about dragons, bonds, and storms. A story in which two women, a man and a dragon must overcome several challenges. The worldbuilding is perfect, the writing style just lends itself beautifully to the story and the plot just kept me reading. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and cannot recommend it highly enough!.

Received as an ARC, I am leaving my honest review. Gripping from the start, you will be glued to the pages as Rowan discovers who she is. Danger awaits as truth is discovered. Magic is awakened, rune sigils glow and with an old dragon at her side, the journey begins. Joining her is a young man that realizes her power and together they face dangerous trials, uncover truths long buried, while heartfelt emotions grow and bonds are formed. The ending is epic and makes you yearn for more
